I loved all of the information I received and found while in this class. The different Web 2.0 sites was really overwhelming at first because as soon as I thought I understood what was going on, it seemed like there was a new component added or another part that I didn't realize I needed to worry about. I have already found multiple ways to use the sites in my classroom and if I am hired back next year I would love to use the Wiki as my class webpage. I knew there was a lot the Web offered these days, I just didn't realize that it could really change the way I taught. One suggestion for the course is to have a couple of sample Wiki's for people in the class to take a look at so that they knew what the end product should look like. Sometimes it's easier when you know what your end goal should be.

I agree with Brandy about being overwhelmed at first by the Web 2.0 sites. It took my a while to start exploring the different sites and to not feel so overwhelmed. Having presentations really helped - I was able to see what other people had discovered and it was inspiring. I'm excited to show my students some of the sites and utilize them in my classes next year.
I also enjoyed making a portfolio online. That's an easy way to keep track of all the assignments and I can see using it throughout this Master's program.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. I feel like I have learned so much and am thrilled to show off my portfolio to anyone who will give me the time of day! Like Brandy, it was a bit overwhelming learning about the many different sites, but I liked having to think of ways of incorporating what we've learned into our own class.
I am both excited and afraid of our next tech class, but I know I'll walk away with learning some really cool stuff.

I agree with the others that the class offered a tremendous wealth of information. I really enjoyed the sharing from other teachers - it was great to see how the different grade levels and different curriculum topics used the various sites.
I just wish it was easier to put more of these great ideas into use in my classroom. There is great frustration over access to computers and the internet. Hopefully these classes will give me the leverage I need to gain more frequent access to classroom computers.
